B&O Play Beoplay E8 wireless earbuds review My hope when I stuck the $300 Beoplay E8s into my ears for the first time was that they'd immediately stand out as the best truly wireless earbuds I'd ever tried. For that kind of money, and with B&O Play's strong reputation, why shouldn't they? At [...]

Optoma NuForce BE Free8 Bluetooth wireless earbuds review Two words: wireless earbuds. If there has been one product one that's absolutely exploded in the past few years, it's probably been these little buggers. And, since Apple released their AirPods, the competition has become increasingly sophisticated. I [...]
@LinusTech will you do a b&o beoplay e8 wireless earbud review?
I know I'm not alone — other people hate wired headphones enough to have sparked a boom in wireless headphone sales from companies like Beats and Bose. But wireless earbuds are a different story. Bragi is just one company trying to solve this problem, but it's probably the most well known. Its earbuds, known as the Dash, raised over $3 million on Kickstarter in 2014, and have become the reference point for just about every other company currently trying to make wireless earbuds a thing. But Bragi wants the Dash to be much more than just wireless earbuds. The Dash is supposed to be a personal assistant, your very own "Samantha" from Her.
When we think of sport or exercise earphones, we usually think of Bluetooth connectivity. But, going wireless doesn’t always make sense as much as it would seem to for exercise earphones — Bluetooth connectivity doesn’t mean much if the earphones won’t stay in your ear. Incorporating a Bluetooth module into earbuds makes them larger and heavier, and that’s the problem that trips up most sport earphone makers. There are a number of solutions to this, the most common being soft ear hooks worn around the top of the ear. Even those don’t necessarily keep the earbuds secured inside your ear canal — while the unit might not completely fall off your head, the buds might come loose, and that’s another unwanted distraction while exercising.

TV Review: The A Word; Exposure: Saudi Arabia Uncovered Yet, another aspect of the sequence worked very well indeed. Viewers often complain about background scores that render dialogue indistinct. Here the Arctic Monkeys’ Mardy Bum playing through Joe’s headphones very nearly drowned out everything. [...]

Last week, Amazon put up one hell of a lightning deal: AirPods, for just $20! That’s a pretty good deal considering a fresh, new pair of Apple’s wireless earbuds would usually cost you $160 — and an incredible deal considering the discount that Amazon was offering, $980 off of the list price of $1,000.The deal, brought to our attention by Splinter’s Libby Watson, seemed too good to be true. Surely, this 98 percent discount on one of this holiday season’s hottest tech items wasn’t just a...
To say it's been a bumpy ride for Essential would be an understatement. After the initial hype surrounding the company's first phone died down, reviews were lukewarm and strong sales failed to materialize. Considerable price drops have followed, and there's also been controversy surrounding founder Andy Rubin and alleged inappropriate behavior. That said, there are some positives for owners of the device, with Essential quick to deliver updates and make improvements. The world's...
We get a lot of headphones here at the Gadgeteer. Various ones of us prefer different styles – some want to have sweat-proof workout units, some want minimalist buds with no cables, some prefer on-ear or in-ear wired units. I prefer over-the-ear wireless headphones. If they have noise canceling, well, that’s just icing on the cake. The latest pair I’ve been sent is from Tsumbay, and they are wireless, over-the-ear, and noise-canceling. Let’s see how they fared.Note: Photos may be tapped or...
Earbuds are as common as ever these days and it’s important to know there are two major types, those with replaceable soft tips and those without. Apple’s earbuds, for instance, have a fixed shape so you have to hope they’re comfortable. When you get soft tips however, you can often customize them for fit and even alter the audio quality.I have used earbuds and headphones since I was in middle school. Each has pros and cons depending on where you are and what you’re doing. For this review, I...
