Beats X review: Apple's neckbuds for the everyday And if I'm without my V-Modas or Bose QC35s, I'll pull my trusty $10 Panasonic ErgoFit earbuds from my bag. So I've never really seen a compelling need for anything that neckbuds stand for. But companies like LG, Jaybird, and Samsung (plus countless [...]

Apple AirPods vs BeatsX: Two smart sets of earphones battle it out By comparison, AirPods sound quiet unless you crank the volume up, at which point you'll be getting annoyed looks from anyone sat around you, who will be hearing the “tsssk, tsssk, tsssk” of every hit of a snare drum with excellent clarity. As well as [...]

Best Beats headphones: Which Beats are right for you? Beats headphones have gone through various iterations over the years and following the company's acquisition by Apple, they are more popular than ever. What should you buy: Apple's BeatsX vs. AirPods Something to take into consideration, however, is that Apple's latest Beats product is a tethered design, like the recent Powerbeats3 model. Beats urBeats Review - Tom's Guide

The urBeats buck those trends, offering the classic Beats design in a simple package with very few frills. Our test pair of urBeats came in white with red-and-silver accents, along with flat, red cabling that somewhat resists tangling. The earpieces are made of metal instead of plastic, inspiring confidence in their durability, and the cabling seems very sturdy. Although we haven't torture-tested them, it's easy to see that these can take some abuse. The inline mic/controller is located a few inches below the earpiece, making it difficult to see when you're wearing the headphones, but the controls are very responsive and easy to operate by feel. The urBeats are available in 10 different color schemes.

Powerbeats by Dr. Dre (Black) - CNET UK

However, plenty of manufacturers are banking on the belief that you want good-looking tech no matter how sweaty you are, hence the Powerbeats by Dr. Dre Sport Headphones from Monster. These $150 earphones offer a secure fit, integrated iPhone controls, and a sleek look--but they're also pricey for workout headphones, and they don't seem particularly durable or sweat-resistant. Still, Monster has the style down with the Powerbeats. Anyone who likes the look of the overall Beats by Dr. Dre line will certainly be drawn to these athletic earbuds. Monster includes three sizes of silicone tips to help with the comfort and fit of the in-ear portion of the earphones.
