As any parent will tell you, kids and corded headphones are a bad mix. My six-year-old son has destroyed at least two pairs in the last year between school and road trips, and the wire is always the first thing to go. That’s why I was quite eager to give the new wireless headphones from Kidz Gear a try. Like other cordless cans, Kidz Gear Bluetooth Wireless Stereo Headphones promise wireless freedom from tangled or broken cables. The key difference is these headphones are specifically intended for children, so they’re roughly 40 percent smaller than usual. Available in blue or pink, the plastic headphones support Bluetooth 4. 0 and work with smartphones, tablets, desktop or notebook computers (including Chromebooks) within a 30-foot range.
Well Kidz Gear aims to change that with their new Bluetooth Headphones for kids. Mainly changing that by the fact that these are wireless headphones and thus won’t use any cables, other than to charge it. These new Bluetooth stereo headphones provide a high-quality audio experience for children. They use Bluetooth 4. 0 here and support a few Bluetooth profiles including A2DP, AVRCP, HF and HS. Kidz Gear is selling these in blue as well as pink. But the aspect that Kidz Gear is touting is the fact that the microphone is great for foreign langugage studies as well as testing their audio and verbal skills. These headphones are model BT68KGXX, and are available right now from Kidz Gear’s website, which we have linked in the sources section below for you. Kidz Gear is also still selling the wired headphones through their website which will be priced at $29. 99, and.

There aren’t many children in the audiophile headphone community. It seems that children simply don’t care about the finer points of high-end audio reproduction. That’s a good thing in this case, because sound reproduction is the thing the two pairs of on-ear Kidz Gear headphones we received for review – the snappily named CH68KGXX wired and the BT68KGXX wireless – do least well. However, I can’t stress enough how little this matters. Yes, in terms of the qualities that audiophiles look for in...
As adults, we have all been to some concert where the music was so loud we wanted to put in ear plugs. Or, perhaps, you needed to protect your hearing during an NHRA race. You see, after the age of 3 months old, any hearing damage can become permanent. Up through the age of 5, hearing damage can also affect the child’s speech and language development. On the...

(ABC)– Some headphones marketed for children may not restrict enough noise for young ears, according to a new report published today by the technology guide The Wirecutter. The Wirecutter tried out 30 different children’s headphones for style, fit and safety by using both a plastic model ear and a few real children.“There’s no governing board that oversees this,” Lauren Dragan, the Headphone Editor at The Wirecutter, told “Good Morning America” in an interview that aired today.
